Our design team will guide you through our proven design process to ensure that no detail goes unnoticed. Our designers follow Ontario building codes, and access guidelines as well as your own human dimensional data to uncover all of your needs, wants and requirements through our lengthy discovery process. From limiting back-bending, to ensuring that the cooking and traffic patterns are maximized, your new design plan, functional lighting and electrical plan, appliances, type of flooring and plumbing fixtures will be tailored specifically for you. The result will be your dream kitchen that will not only look fabulous, but will be as functional as possible.
Based on your design experience profile and in-home visit with one of our expert designers, our design team will present you with your preliminary project design. Upon your review, our team will make any necessary revisions and turn your preliminary plan into a beautiful 3D rendering.

present interior kitchen lighting solutions to ensure that your space is well-lit for safety,

To ensure that you can visualize your newly design kitchen, we will present your design in a 3D rendering complete with your products, finishes and colours so that you can truly understand you design concept. Seeing it before you buy it helps to eliminate the build up of worry and allows you to see your transformation before the renovation actually begins.

The design process went very well. The installation and management of the demolition & construction activities was outstanding!! Patrick did an incredible job addressing any and all issues. Most of the time the issues were addressed before we were aware there was one. We love the area that has been created by removing the wall between the kitchen and family room. All members of the team were very professional and helpful. Their experience was evident. Patrick directed the work as if it was his own home. Every decision was based on what would ensure we would be happy. The cabinets are great, the design is wonderful, but the construction activity and direction provided was incredible. Although the experience of being without a kitchen for eight weeks was painful, dealing with William Standen Co. was not!!! I cannot say enough about the level of service. Thanks for everything.

We are LOVING our new home. The layout has allowed for many parties already. I have never considered myself an entertainer but our new home is perfect for any occasion we have held. Someone told me recently that they couldn't understand why we would hire a designer but once they toured our home and saw the attention to even the smallest of details they were really impressed. My brother-in-law asked me if there was anything I would change now that we are living in the home. I told him without hesitation, ‘No! We source hardwood components from responsibly managed forests and our finishes, particleboard and plywood are free of added formaldehyde and other air pollutants, resulting in better indoor air quality in your home.

- Our cabinets are constructed using a low-VOC finish that is hand-applied to eliminate waste

Yes. William Standen Co. is an all-inclusive design™ and renovation firm, which means that we handle every stage of the renovation project. From kick-off to completion, every step is masterfully handled in-house, by a team of professional designers, project managers and our construction crew. This means you won’t have to worry about organizing tradespeople or managing construction schedules – you work with just one company throughout the entire renovation.
How much will it cost to get a quote?
The initial meet-and-greet in our design studio to get to know each other, and to understand the products and services that we offer, is 100% free of charge. Before developing a design, product specifications, project quote and renovation game-plan, we charge a design fee.
